Our Roots

Our Africa travel roots stretch far back when in 1989 Deidré Swart, founder of Africa Travel Destinations, joined the tourism industry, working with a dynamic tour operating firm, that offered inbound tour services, specialising in self-drive tours. It was at this point, that the tourism bug bit and Deidré's passion for providing clients with unique travel experiences took off.
Having experienced some of Africa's highlight destinations and experiences through educational trips first hand, Deidré's passion for travel resulted in the establishment of Africa Travel Destinations in 2011, with the mission of providing clients with exceptional travel experiences.
